Rosana VILLARES
I am an assistant professor at the University of Zaragoza and a member of the Institute of Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems (BIFI) and the research group Digital Science: Sustainable, Transformative and Transversal (Iberus Campus of International Excellence). In December 2019, I received my PhD cum laude after defending my thesis, written under the supervision of Prof. Carmen Pérez-Llantada, where I examined the role of English and language strategies in the internationalisation of Spanish higher education from a top-down point of view, using corpus linguistics and critical discourse analysis. My main research interests include internationalisation, English as an academic language, and scientific communication. I have also carried out research on teaching English as a Foreign Language and discourse analysis of digital genres.
