María Ángeles VELILLA SÁNCHEZ

I am a lecturer and researcher at the University of Zaragoza. My research focuses on digital and multimodal scientific communication, examining how experts across disciplines use English to make scientific knowledge more accessible. Specifically, I explore multimodal discursive strategies that enhance transparency while maintaining content depth, with the goal of bridging the gap between academic and general audiences. My work has pedagogical implications for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English-Medium Instruction (EMI), providing insights into effective communication strategies for researchers, educators, and science communicators.
