Ana BOCANEGRA-VALLE


I am a senior lecturer at the University of Cadiz, Spain, where I teach Maritime English to undergraduates and Master’s students. I have conducted research on needs analysis, learning strategies, interculturality, Maritime English discourse, academic and professional discourse, scholarly publishing and English for research publication purposes. I have published internationally on various aspects pertaining to these researching topics, have co-edited the compilation English for Specific Purposes: Studies for Classroom Development and Implementation (2007) and recently edited the volume Applied Linguistics and Knowledge Transfer. Internationalisation, Employability and Social Challenges (Peter Lang, 2020). I have also served in the scientific boards of national and international conferences and assisted national and international journals as peer reviewer.
